Making the move into the surf
The River Cuckmere bends and meanders as it makes its way out to sea at Cuckmere Haven. I captured this scene at first light just before daybreak.
Just East from Albufeira there are some wonderful beaches. I managed to get up early enough to capture this sunrise. An unusual subject for me.

In all the years that I've visited this location I've never taken a picture of these old coastguard cottages, maybe because many photographers have already been there and have produced some wonderful and iconic photographs. Anyway better late than never here is my version.
